    Day 1

    Arrival in Colombo

    Airport pickup and transfer to the hotel. Evening at leisure.

    Day 2

    Colombo to Sigiriya

    Drive to the Cultural Triangle via Dambulla's cave temples.

  3. 3

    Day 3

    Sigiriya & Polonnaruwa

    Sunrise climb of Sigiriya Rock, then cycle the ancient ruins of Polonnaruwa.

    Day 4

    Sigiriya to Kandy

    Spice garden stop, Temple of the Tooth and an evening cultural show.

    Day 5

    Kandy to Nuwara Eliya

    Tea estate and factory tour through the highlands. Overnight in the hills.

    Day 6

    The blue train to Ella

    Ride the highland railway, then hike Little Adam's Peak for sunset.

    Ella to Yala

    Nine Arch Bridge at train time, then transfer to the park edge for an afternoon safari.

    Yala to Galle

    Dawn game drive, then drive the coast road to the walled town of Galle.

    Fort walking tour, then whale watching or a slow beach day at Mirissa.
